
PORAC, Pampanga – Newly elected Vice Mayor Jen Capil has formally taken her oath of office, signifying a fresh mandate and a renewed commitment to serve the people of Porac with compassion and inclusivity.
Capil’s oath-taking ceremony was held on June 20, in the presence of barangay captains from Porac’s upland communities, a deliberate and symbolic choice reflecting her promise to uplift marginalized sectors and ensure that governance reaches even the farthest sitios.

“Ang ating panunumpa ay isinagawa sa harap ng ating mga Kapitan mula sa upland barangays ng Porac, isang makahulugang pagpili na sumasalamin sa ating hangaring maglingkod nang pantay at may malasakit,” Capil said during the event.
Capil expressed deep gratitude to the people of Porac for their trust and support, calling her new post “a great honor and responsibility.”

“Muli, maraming salamat, mga Poraqueños, sa tiwala at pagkakataon. Isang malaking karangalan ang makapaglingkod sa inyong lahat,” she added.
Known for her advocacy for inclusive development, Capil’s leadership is expected to focus on grassroots engagement, support for upland communities, and transparent local governance.

“Papunta pa lang tayo sa exciting part,” Capil said, signaling her administration’s intention to usher in dynamic and community-centered reforms in the coming term.
