World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedron Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the “pandemic is far from over.”
Ghebreyesus mentioned there are regions with underreported cases and deaths because of low testing capacity.
The WHO chied is concerned about new cases in Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa and some Asian countries.
In the Philippines, the Department of Health announced it received 700 units of test kits from the Republic of Korea.
As of April 28, the country has a reported 7,958 cases, 975 recoveries and 530 deaths.
