ANGELES CITY – The Zonta Club of Pampanga led by its president, Gilda Padua, held its induction of new members and general meeting at the Bale Balayan museum for the poor here on September 7.
There were seven new members of the club, including businesswoman and celebrity Jaycee Parker.
Isabel Cu, area director of Zonta, was the special guest who led the induction ceremonies. The other official of Zonta who joined the event was Elvira Sumadchat, charter president.
In the same event, Zonta Pampanga also conducted an outreach project for the children of Bale Balayan. They gave hygiene kits and food to
the boys and girls.
Zonta Pampanga handed P5,000 to the children of Bale Balayan. Cu also gave a cash gift to them.
The children sang in front of the Zonta club members. They also played musical instruments.
The group is set to join Vice President Leni Robredo in a relief distribution for flood victims in Pampanga.
