BALANGA CITY — About 500 government employees have joined the ZumBayani 2019 in line with the celebration of Civil Service Month on Monday
The dance activity was organized by Philippine Information Agency and youth organization Balangay Bayani to recognize civil servants and raise funds for developmental programs in schools.
“This highlighted the importance of health among public servants who contribute to Bataan’s vision of high human development index,” Civil Service Commission Provincial Director Edgardo Cruz said.
Special awards were likewise handed out namely Best in Costume, Best Zumba Dancing Couple and Family, Best Hataw King and Queen, and Youngest and Eldest Zumba Dancer.
Proceeds of the activity will be allocated for the project Byaheng PasaHero, which will bring tourism, history, and entrepreneurship in secondary schools. (CLJD/MJSD-PIA 3 with Romeo Canlas Jr, intern)
