Quest Clark holds 1st Media Golf Tourney

Not even the downpour of rain could stop their “flight”.

Despite the early signs of rain and the gray clouds blanketing the morning sky of Filinvest Mimosa estate on Sept. 30, the participants of the 1st ever Quest Hotel and Conference Center Friendship Golf Tournament bravely swung and putted their way across the vastness of Mimosa Golf’s 18-hole Acacia & Lakeview course.

According to Mike Jawad, General Manager of Filinvest Mimosa, the tournament is a way to reintroduce to the public, not only the course and the recently opened driving range, but the improvements implemented therein.

The tournament followed a System 36 format and a shotgun tee off. The winners are the following: Mae Dolonius, Class B runner-up; Nicer Landas, Class B champion; Ariel Javelosa, Class A runner-up; Jose Cadiz, Class A Champion; and Blue Recto as overall champion.

The tourney’s players came from publications such as Inquirer Golf of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Business Mirror, Pinoygolf.com, Impact Magazine, Fly Magazine and Miguel Magazine.

Other media outfits who attended the event include Sunstar Pampanga, The Observer, DZMM Radio, Punto! Central Luzon, The Voice Central Luzon, Pep TV Channel 3, UFM 105.5, Clark Monitor, iOrbit Online News, and Central Luzon Businessweek.
