Sanico, DTI Bataan OIC-Provincial Director Eileen E. Ocampo, Ms. Anne Rose Munar of Vista Mall, TIDS Marissa D. Dela Cruz, Ms. John Justine Guinto of Vista Mall, and BC Charito S. Martinez of 1BNC.

The event aims to showcase the best of Bataan’s local products, including tinapa (smoked fish), tuyo (dried fish), bagoong (shrimp paste), kasoy (cashew nuts), pastries, banana and camote chips, adobong mani, honey, kakanin, baked products, as well as sturdy and beautiful handicraft items such as bags, walis, sandals, bed sheets, pillow cases, and doormats.

Thirty-five small businesses from the province are participating in the trade fair, giving visitors the opportunity to support local entrepreneurs and their livelihoods.

DTI Bataan emphasized the importance of supporting women entrepreneurs, especially during the International Women’s Month.

“This event is not just a celebration of women’s achievements and contributions to society, but also a testament to the resilience and creativity of our small business owners,” says OIC, PD Ocampo.

She stressed the value of patronizing local products. “By buying locally made products, we are not only helping our own economy but also preserving our cultural heritage,” she said.

The trade fair is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, until May 13. Visitors are invited to come and discover the best of Bataan’s local products while supporting the province’s micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs).
