The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) garnered a 50.49% passing rate in the August 2019 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination with 122 passers.
Out of the 112 passers, 106 are first-timer takers while six are repeaters.The university had a total of 247 board exam takers.
Meanwhile, DHVSU Pres. Enrique Baking congratulated the passers for giving their best. For those who did not make it, he added, it is not yet too late.
The Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) held the exams on Aug. 25 to 26, and released its results after four working days.
According to PRC reports, 3,928 out of 5,563 passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination.
The Board of Mechanical Engineering is composed of Engr. Jesus Redelosa, Chairman; Engr. Fernando S. Guevara, and Engr. Mirardo C. Malazarte Jr., members.
