CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan – Anti-narcotics operatives here arrested two alleged big-time drug dealers during a buy bust operation in Bgy. Gumaok West on Wednesday.
In a report to Bulacan acting police director Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., CSJDM police head Supt. Fitz Macariola identified the arrested suspects as Roberto Perez alias “Obet” and Fujinuki Faller, both residents of said barangay.
The duo did not resist arrest, police said.
Macariola said that joint operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Group and the Police Community Precinct 1 in coordination with the Philippine Drug Information Agency (PDEA) had been conducting surveillance operations against Perez, who is included on the target list of PDEA as a major source of shabu in the area and Sapang Palay.
The two were arrested after conspiring in the sale of a plastic sachet of shabu to a police undercover agent.
Macariola said the joint police team recovered 14 pieces of plastic sachet containing shabu with an estimated street value of P12,000, marked money used in the sting operation, drug paraphernalia and dope money woth P700 from the suspects.
Macariola said that drug pushing charges will be filed against the suspects. —Emil G. Gamos
