Pormal na pinasinayaan ngayong Martes ng umaga ang dalawang bagong fast patrol boats (FPB 02 at FPB 4) ng Bureau of Customs para sa Port of Limay at Port of Mariveles sa Bataan.
Pinangunahan ito ni Port of Limay BOC District Collector Atty. William Balayo kasama ang mga representatives ng iba pang concerned government agencies kagaya ng PNP, PDEA, Philippine Ports Authority, Bureau of Quarantine, Bureau of Immigration, Highway Patrol Group, PNP Maritime Group, Provincial Government of Bataan at Metro Bataan Development Authority.
Ayon kay Atty. Balayo gagamitin ito ng ahensya sa boarding formalities, patrol, at water pursuits sa mga national borders at may bilis na 45 knots na top speed.
Ang dalawang fast patrol boats na ito ay bahagi ng 20 units ng 12.7 meter boats na may tatlong engines mula sa Bureau of Customs head office.
