2 LTO fixers nabbed in Bulacan

CAMP OLIVAS — Two Land Transportation Office fixers were arrested on Monday by CIDG agents in an entrapment in Bulacan.

Region 3 CIDG chief Col. Norberto Delmas identified the suspects as tricycle driver Reynaldo Lacuna,  43, of Mary Village, Bgy. Caysio, Sta Maria, Bulacan; and Carlin Anne Cabreza,  35, of No. 24 Calumpang St., Bgy. Panginay, Balagtas, Bulacan.

Delmas said victims Roleli Tullas, 30, and Dexter Sulit, 38, both security officers of ARTA and residents of NFA Bldg., Bgy. Vasra, Visayas Ave. Quezon City, complained that the suspects offered to expedite their LTO application in exchange for money.

The CIDG launched an entrapment against the two suspects on McArthur Hi-way,  LTO Office in Bgy. Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan, and seized from them the P500 marked money.

The suspects will be charged with violation of   R.A 9485 or Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007.
