DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – A total of 87 traders joined this year’s Diskwento Caravan organized by the Department of Trade and Industry and the local government unit of this first-class municipality.
Municipal Mayor Maria Angela “Gila” S. Garcia, who came fresh from a Kasalang Bayan (mass wedding) at the Bulwagan ng Bayan, led the ribbon cutting and formal opening ceremonies of this trade fair featuring Bataan products and delicacies, school supplies, novelty items, appliances and other products with 10 percent discount.
The event is part of the week-long celebration of the town’s fiesta on Sunday, June 24, honoring the municipality’s patron saint, St. John The Baptist.
Garcia was joined by other local officials namely OIC municipal administrator Rolly Rojas, Vice Mayor Rey Matawaran, municipal councilors, department heads, Dinalupihan ABC President Eric Muli and Barangay & Sangguniang Kabataan officials.
