MALOLOS CITY — Three persons were arrested in Bulacan for violating the gun ban.
They are Pamfelo Carola from San Jose Heights in San Jose Del Monte City, Oliver Gabriel from barangay Siling Matanda in Pandi, and retired policeman Ireneo Soriente of barangay Lawa in Meycauayan City.
Police Provincial Director P/Sr. Supt Romeo Caramat Jr said they were able to recover various firearms including improvised firearm with one live 12-gauge bullet, Berretta caliber .40 loaded with 10 live ammunitions and one magazine; one Shooter caliber 45; one magazine loaded with 10 ammunitions; and three caliber .45 empty shells.
Bulacan police has intensified the implementation of gun ban to avoid election-related violence particularly in the 27 barangays that are Election Watch List Areas.
