DINALUPIHAN, Bataan — Sixty five couples from various villages here have exchanged vows in a mass wedding at the Bulwagan ng Bayan sponsored by the local government unit led by reelected, third-termer Mayor Maria Angela “Gila” Garcia, Wednesday morning.
Garcia along with Vice Mayor Renato Matawaran, Councilor Emmanuel “Bitoy” Bajada and the rest of the municipal council members, Administrator Rolly Rojas and the department heads served as principal sponsors during the annual ‘Kasalang Bayan’ now on its 6th year.
The ceremonies were complete with flower arrangement, cakes and traditional wine wedding toast.
The masswedding was part of the nine-day calendar of activities for the upcoming Feast of St. John The Baptist, the town’s patron saint.

After the civil wedding formal rites, the newlyweds were blessed with a Holy Mass.
