88-year old founder of Duyan ni Maria, homeless kids thank Fortunegate Casino Clark for donations

Mabalacat City— After its successful grand launch in July 28, Fortunegate Casino Clark top executives and personnel have organized a gift-giving event benefitting some 43 homeless children of Duyan ni Maria (DNM), a shelter founded by Sis. Alessandrina Casas in Barangay Madapdap here.

Fortunegate Chief Operation Officer Regina Chen, General Manager Keith Tan and Casino Operations General Manager Eduardo Dacanay distributed food packs, toiletries and toys to the children of DNM.

They were assisted by Hotel Stotsenberg employees. According to Sis. Casas, the institution provides home and care to children ages 1 to 22 years old whose parents are working here in Manila and abroad.

“Maraming salamat po sa pagpunta niyo, masayang masaya po kami sa tulong na ibinigay ng Fortunegate para sa mga bata dito,” Sis. Casas told iOrbit News during the charity event.

DNM was established in 1988 in Makati. Years after they transferred in Josefa Subdivision in Angeles City and just three years ago, they were relocated here in Barangay Madapdap.

“We started with three kids only. Yung kaibigan ko ay mag-aabroad at walang mapag-iwanan sa mga anak kaya ako ang nag-alaga sa kanila. My vocation talaga is for the poor,” Sis. Casas added.

Meanwhile, Fortunegate management said this will become a monthly activity as part of their corporate social responsibility program.
