9 arrested in CL anti-drug ops

CAMP OLIVAS — Operatives from the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) apprehended nine persons during the anti-illegal drugs operations conducted in the region over the weekend.

PRO3 director PBGen. Rhodel Sermonia said, Bulacan police were able to arrest the following persons: JR Lugtu, included in the PNP-PDEA Unified Watchlist and a resident of Lopez Jaena Brgy Sto. Cristo Baliwag, Bulacan in possession of four heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of shabu and P500 marked money; John Paulo Silvano, resident of No. 31, Tanguille St. Pleasant Hills, Phase 6, Brgy. San Manuel, CSJDM, Bulacan; Leo Ocampo Jr., SK Kagawad, resident of Blk.4, Lot 19, Korint St. Pleasant Hills, Brgy. San Manuel, CSJDM, Bulacan; and Maricris Silvano, resident of 32 Tanguille St., Pleasant Hills Subd., Brgy. San Manuel, CSJDM, Bulacan with 6 transparent plastic sachets containing drugs and P400 marked money.

In Nueva Ecija, police operatives arrested Jayvee Bornilla, resident of Brgy. Don Mariano Marcos, Jaen, Nueva Ecija in possession of 2 pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu; Sherwin Eleazar, resident of Brgy. Dampulan, Jaen, Nueva Ecija with 4 heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu and P1,000.00 marked money; Ronaldo Dasalla and Francisco Dasalla, both residents of Purok 2, Brgy Imelda, Cabanatuan City with 4 pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu and P500 marked money.

Pampanga police operatives were able to arrest: Vincent Morales, ranked No. 9 in the PDEA target list (Provincial Level) and presently residing at Pandaguirig, Floridablanca, Pampanga in possession of 15 pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu, P1,000 marked money and 1 Llama Parabellum Cal. 9mm pistol with 12 live ammunition.           

“This only goes to show that we are not having any let-up in our anti-criminality operations despite our enormous tasks in the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine. We will keep on conducting operations in the coming days and we are serious in attaining our vision of drug-free communities,” Sermonia added.
