CLARK FREEPORT—Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera was hailed as “Woman of the Year” by PUNTO Central Luzon during a ceremony held at the Clark Visitors Center. The recognition honors her groundbreaking role as the first woman to lead the state-run CDC, which manages the sprawling Clark Freeport Zone.

Devanadera’s leadership has been marked by strong investment performance, with CDC posting a record P77 billion in committed investments for 2024. Her tenure has been praised for promoting inclusive economic growth and fostering a business-friendly environment in one of the country’s key economic hubs.
Joining her in the spotlight were other honorees recognized as “Icons of the Year,” including Dr. Maria Loreto Angeles Canlas of Angeles University Foundation, Jose Paulo Carlos, President and CEO of Bank of Florida, and Susan Nunga, Director of the Bank of Florida. The awards celebrated leadership excellence and innovation across sectors in Central Luzon.
