ANGELES CITY- South Korean Consul-General Sang Seung Man on Tuesday, April 22, visited the site of the fatal shooting of a Korean national in Korean Town, Angeles City — a quiet gesture of mourning days after the April 20 attack that rattled the local Korean community.
The Consul-General’s visit was brief and without fanfare, as he declined to speak to the media. Instead, he left behind a tarpaulin bearing a strong message:
“The bullet you fired did not only kill a person — it shattered a family’s future. He did not fight back.”
The solemn moment underscored the growing unease among Korean nationals in Angeles City, many of whom are now calling for stronger protections and quicker justice following the shooting.
