Maritime forces participating in Exercise Balikatan successfully conducted a casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) drill at sea on April 28, as part of the Multilateral Maritime Event.
The exercise involved realistic scenarios designed to enhance the participants’ ability to manage critical incidents and perform life-saving operations during maritime emergencies.
Organizers said the drill underscored the importance of integrated maritime responses in crisis situations, strengthening coordination among participating forces.
By sharpening CASEVAC procedures and building interoperability, Balikatan continues to reinforce regional cooperation, security, and humanitarian assistance efforts.
