
Clark Development Corporation, led by its president and CEO, Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, joined the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in a visit to Lot Fourteen, South Australia’s leading innovation district. The delegation aimed to explore global models of collaboration-driven ecosystems and gain insights into strategies that drive innovation and economic growth.

Hosted by Rachel Walsh, director of growth and operations at Lot Fourteen, the delegation met with industry leaders to discuss South Australia’s approach to fostering entrepreneurship and technology-driven development. The visit included discussions on the Innovation Places strategy, a tour of the Stone & Chalk Startup Hub, and insights into the Australian Institute for Machine Learning, a research facility advancing AI innovation.

The visit highlighted key lessons particularly in aligning similar models of innovation clustering and public-private-academic collaboration with Philippine initiatives, a potential model for the Clark Freeport Zone.
