Pineda urges Morales to run for Dau barangay chief

In a surprise message during a Thanksgiving dinner with barangay leaders of Dau, businessman Rodolfo “Tatay Bong” Pineda urged former Mabalacat City Mayor Marino “Boking” Morales to run for barangay captain of Dau in the upcoming elections.

Morales previously vied for the same post but lost to incumbent Barangay Captain Derreck Dee. Despite the defeat, the Morales family remains a strong political force in Mabalacat.

In the recent midterm elections, several members of the Morales family won key positions. Ike Morales topped the Mabalacat City council race, while Marjorie Morales secured her second term. Raf Morales also won as a councilor in Bamban, Tarlac, placing sixth.

Morales’ son-in-law, John Sambo, likewise clinched his second term as mayor of Sto. Tomas, Pampanga.
