MANILA – PLDT Global Corporation (PLDT Global) and Philippine Airlines, in partnership with MQuest Ventures, join forces to proudly present “HK Fest 2025” in celebration of the 127th Philippine Independence Day. This three-day cultural and entertainment showcase honors the unwavering spirit of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Hong Kong.
Taking place from June 13 to 15, 2025, across various locations in Hong Kong, the event promises to bring together the best of Filipino talent, culture, and community—made possible with Philippine Airlines as the official airline carrier. As part of their commitment to the Filipino diaspora, PAL will be flying in some of the Philippines’ brightest stars to join our kababayans in this historic celebration.
Kicking off the festivities is the Makabayan Film Fest 2025 on June 13 and 14, featuring three critically acclaimed Filipino films: Song of the Fireflies, GomBurZa, and The Kingdom. The film festival will be held at Emperor Cinemas, iSQUARE Mall, in Tsim Sha Tsui. Celebrities Enchong Dee, Cedrick Juan, Sid Lucero, and Sue Ramirez will be in attendance to interact with fans and represent the spirit of modern Filipino cinema.
The celebration will culminate with the Saludo Concert 2025 on June 15 — a free-for-all variety show that pays tribute to the resilience, hard work, and contributions of OFWs. The concert will take place at Chater Road, Central, Hong Kong. Topbilled by Vic Sotto and Senator Raffy Tulfo, the star-studded lineup also includes Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Allan K, Carren Eistrup, Nina, Richard Poon, Ana Ramsey, Dylan Menor, DJ Chacha, Donita Nose, K Brosas, and Randy Santiago.
Gracing the partnership announcement are key executives from the organizing partners. Representing Philippine Airlines are Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Atty. Carlos Luis Fernandez, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Anna Bengzon, Vice President for Marketing Alvin Miranda, Vice President for Sales Justin Warby, and Vice President for Corporate Affairs Anne Tiongco. From PLDT Global, President and CEO Albert V. Villa-Real, Chief Operating Officer Edith Gomez-Cudiamat, and Head of Global Marketing Sush Zetazate led the company’s presence.
