SM City Olongapo Central and SM City Olongapo Downtown and the rest of SM malls across the country simultaneously held a flag-raising ceremonies in celebration of the 127th Independence Day.
The celebration featured dynamic cultural performances and modern dance showcases from various local groups, including, MGM Dance Sports Scholars, Pase Voci and Pase Ballo of Gordon College. Their powerful and heartfelt performances truly captured the essence of Filipino pride and talent.
In SM Olongapo Central, the event was graced by Hon. Mayor Rolen C. Paulino, Jr., Councilor Lugie Lipumano-Garcia, City Tourism Head Fifi Legaspi with Olongapo-crowned beauties. At SM Olongapo Downtown, Vice Mayor Aquilino “Jong” Cortez, along with Vice Mayor-elect Kaye Ann Legaspi, Councilors Vic Vic Magsaysay and Rodolfo Catologan with Brgy. Pagasa captain Rodolfo Catologan, Jr. led the ceremonial program honoring our nation’s heroes and the enduring spirit of freedom.
