BCDA highlights key projects fueling Central Luzon growth

CLARK FREEPORT — The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) underscored its role as a key driver in Central Luzon’s economic transformation during the 3rd Central Luzon Transport and Trade Conference held this week.

BCDA Vice President for Investment Promotions and Marketing Erwin Kenneth Peralta presented a robust pipeline of public and private developments in New Clark City, positioning the area as a critical hub for innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth.

Among the major government-led projects showcased were the upcoming Vaccine and Virology Institute, the Narra Technology Park, and various affordable housing developments—designed to attract investments while improving the quality of life for future residents.

Peralta also spotlighted major private-sector initiatives, including Hann Reserve, SkyBlue Golf Course, the planned Clark Central Business District, and green energy solutions such as solar farms and waste-to-energy facilities.

“These projects are part of our vision to create a future-ready city that can serve as a model for sustainable and inclusive urban development,” Peralta said, noting that investor confidence remains strong in the region.

With the theme “Building a Reliable Logistics Infrastructure to Power Economic Growth,” the conference brought together stakeholders from both the public and private sectors to explore how infrastructure, trade, and strategic planning are accelerating Central Luzon’s rise as the Philippines’ next growth center.

The BCDA’s participation reinforced its commitment to building infrastructure that not only drives commerce but also promotes long-term resilience and prosperity in the region.
