
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Pampanga Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda on Tuesday (July 1) urged elected members of the 12th Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) to unite and pass ordinances in support of the legislative agenda of Governor Lilia “Nanay Gov” Pineda.
The vice governor aired the call for unity as he presided over the first session of the 12th SP.
Provincial Board Members Cherry Manalo and Christian Halili (First District); Olga Frances “Fritzie” David Dizon, Atty. Claire David Lim, and Sajid Khan Eusoof (Second District); Lucky Ferdinand Labung, Shiwen Lim, and Michaeline “My-My” Gonzales (Third District); Dr. Kariza “Kaye” Naguit and Atty. Vincent Angelo Calara attended the inaugural session.

In the same event, Governor Pineda presented her 14-point agenda focusing on strengthening the Provincial Health Systems; Food Security and Agricultural Resilience; Youth Empowerment, Education, and Skills Development; Good Governance, Ethical Leadership and Oversight Mechanism to ensure transparency, anti-corruption, and people-centered governance; Environmental Regulatory and Monitoring; Alagang Nanay: Comprehensive Provincial Social Welfare and Protection Program; Employment, Livelihood, and Micro-Enterprise Promotion; Digital Governance and ICT Development; Disaster Resilience and Climate Adaptation; Cooperative Development and Financial Inclusion; Barangay Empowerment and Partnership; Expanded Access to Quality and Inclusive Education; Overseas Kapampangan Welfare and Reintegration; and Provincial Housing and Human Settlements Development.

Vice Governor Pineda said: “At bilang tugon sa malinaw na direksyon ng ating mahal na Governor Nanay, asahan po ninyo na ang Sangguniang Panlalawigan ay susuporta sa mga priority agenda na binanggit ng ating governor. Lalong-lalo na sa kalusugan, seguridad sa pagkain, edukasyon, hanapbuhay, agrikultura, pangangalaga sa kalikasan, kahandaan sa kalamidad, kapakanan ng mga kabataan at sektoral group, at pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at kaayusan.”
He added: “Sisiguraduhin po namin na meron pong karampatang legislative measure at budget allocation ang mga ito upang matiyak na mabilis, maayos, at epektibong maipapatupad ang mga programa para sa mga Kapampangan.”
The governor and vice governor also thanked Krizannel Garbo, Benjamin Jocson, Atty. Ananias Canlas Jr., now Rep. Alyssa Michaela Gonzales, now Macabebe Councilor Rolando Balingit, and Nelson Calara for serving in the 11th SP.
