MANILA, Philippines – Santa Rita, Pampanga is among the latest beneficiaries of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s (PCSO) Medical Transport Vehicle Donation Program (MTVDP), as Mayor Reynan Calo personally received a Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) during the turnover ceremony held Tuesday, July 9, at Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led the ceremonial handover of the emergency transport vehicles to various local government units across the country.

The MTVDP is part of the PCSO’s push to strengthen local healthcare capacity, particularly in municipalities working to improve access to emergency medical services.

Mayor Calo said the donated vehicle, which comes equipped with essential life-saving equipment, will serve as a vital addition to Santa Rita’s health response efforts.
“This transport unit supports our commitment to build a Bayung Santa Rita that is ready and responsive to the health needs of our people,” Calo said in a statement.

The unit will be mobilized immediately to help ensure the safe and timely transport of patients in the municipality.
