ANGELES CITY, Philippines – Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II signed Executive Order No. 003, Series of 2025, creating a Task Force on Abacan River Waterways Management. The group will tackle water pollution, safety hazards, and illegal structures along the river. Led by the City Engineer’s Office, it will conduct clearing operations, establish greenbelts, and oversee monthly reports to ensure sustainable urban and environmental reforms.
