BALER, Aurora – Students and faculty of Dingalan Community College now benefit from enhanced learning spaces with the completion of a P14.85-million educational building by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Located in Barangay Davildavilan, the newly constructed one-story, 522-square-meter structure houses four classrooms and a canteen, designed to accommodate more learners and support various academic and community activities.
“This new structure will help the school accommodate more students and host a range of academic and community activities. We want to ensure they have access to facilities that support quality education and personal growth,” DPWH Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal said.
The building is equipped with upgraded amenities such as water closets, lavatories, bidets, stainless steel water tanks, a water pump, urinals, whiteboards, modern lighting fixtures, fire safety equipment, and split-type air-conditioning units—ensuring a safe and conducive environment for both students and educators.
With the facility now fully operational, the college is expected to improve student performance, increase community engagement, and serve as a venue for public programs contributing to local development.
The project supports President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s commitment, as outlined in his 2024 State of the Nation Address, to enhance access to quality education through the construction and modernization of school infrastructure nationwide.
It also advances the administration’s goal of inclusive development by investing in projects that uplift communities and empower the youth.
The DPWH Aurora District Engineering Office continues to carry out education-focused infrastructure initiatives aligned with the national government’s thrust to equip future generations with the tools they need to succeed. (CLJD/RPQ, PIA Region 3-Aurora)
