MABALACAT CITY, Philippines – Mayor Geld Aquino reaffirmed his commitment to expanding financial aid programs for solo parents in the city. The announcement came as the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), led by Josephine Tanglao, distributed the first quarter subsidy of P3,000 to 200 solo parents on Thursday, July 17, at Jade Hall, Xevera, Barangay Tabun. Aquino said more support initiatives are in the pipeline to uplift solo-parent households.
