P2.4-M drugs seized in Central Luzon raids

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga—At least seven individuals, including four classified as high-value targets (HVTs), were arrested during weekend anti-drug operations across Bataan and Pampanga that yielded over P2.4 million worth of illegal drugs, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) reported Monday.

In separate operations in Limay and Orani, Bataan, authorities confiscated over 153 grams of shabu from five suspects. Meanwhile, operatives in Mabalacat City, Pampanga recovered 5.5 kilograms of dried marijuana and 470 grams of Kush from two HVTs.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. lauded the successful operations and reaffirmed the regional police’s commitment to relentless drug enforcement.

He also urged continued public support in reporting drug-related activities to help safeguard communities.
