ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – Department of Transportation (DOTr) Assistant Secretary for Right of Way and Site Acquisition (ROWSA) Irish “IC” Calaguas led a site inspection of the old PNR Bridge in Barangay Balibago, where a replacement footbridge is nearing completion.

The construction of the new footbridge was requested by then Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., now the Representative of Pampanga’s First District. According to the DOTr, the old bridge will be demolished once the new footbridge becomes operational.
The inspection team also included DOTr employees led by Project Development Officer III Rowell Nava.

DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon earlier emphasized the agency’s progress in Right of Way and Site Acquisition (ROWSA), citing it as a key component of the North-South Commuter Railway Project, which President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ordered to be expedited.
