BOC recovers all 12 Discaya-linked luxury vehicles

MANILA, Philippines – The Bureau of Customs (BOC) confirmed on Tuesday evening, September 2, that all 12 luxury vehicles linked to the Discaya family have been accounted for following a court-ordered search operation in Pasig City.

Earlier in the day, BOC agents recovered two vehicles covered by the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 18 warrant — a Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and a Maserati Levante Modena 2022 — during the search at St. Gerrard Construction General Contractor and Development Corp.’s headquarters.

By evening, seven more luxury cars — including a Rolls Royce Cullinan, Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes Benz G-500, Mercedes AMG G63, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Sequoia, and Cadillac Escalade — were surrendered and secured at the compound.

The last three units — a GMC Yukon Denali and two Lincoln Navigators — are undergoing repairs in authorized service centers and will also be turned over to the BOC.

“All 12 vehicles are now secured and sealed under round-the-clock guard,” said Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno, who credited inter-agency cooperation and warned that any concealment or tax discrepancies will face full legal consequences.

The vehicles are under verification for import compliance. If irregularities are found, enforcement actions will be pursued under the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA).
