Mariveles, Bataan – The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry – Strategic Trade Management Office (DTI-STMO), conducted a Strategic Trade Management Act (STMA) Awareness Forum on 18 September 2025.
DTI-STMO Assistant Division Chief Chloe Andrea Anacan led the session, which gathered 74 participants composed of representatives from FAB-Registered Enterprises (FREs) and personnel from AFAB’s Enterprise Assistance Division and Ports Services Division.
The forum highlighted the importance of the STMA and its implementing rules and regulations, particularly for enterprises engaged in the trade of strategic and dual-use goods.
