MANILA, Philippines –Marco Polo Ortigas Manila invites guests to raise a cup for a cause this October as the hotel lights the Ortigas skyline pink in celebration of Pinktober 2025. In proud partnership with Cardinal Santos Medical Center, the hotel continues its advocacy for breast cancer awareness, turning every sip of its specially crafted drink into a symbol of hope.
The highlight of this year’s campaign is The Silken Bloom, a luscious pink creation available all month at Café Pronto, Cucina, Lung Hin, and Connect Lounge. Blending bold espresso with velvety milk, topped with pink meringue, toasted mallows, and a hint of cinnamon, it finishes with a kiss of hazelnut sweetness. More than a treat, The Silken Bloom carries purpose: 10 percent of each order will be donated to the Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation, Inc., supporting underprivileged breast cancer patients.
“Pinktober is a reminder that awareness and early action can save lives,” said Fredrik Johansson, General Manager of Marco Polo Ortigas Manila. “By coming together over something as simple as a cup of coffee, we help build support for those facing breast cancer and amplify the message of early detection.”
Raul C. Pagdanganan, President and CEO of Cardinal Santos Medical Center, added, “Through Pinktober, we are able to channel generosity directly into treatment and care. Every contribution makes a difference in ensuring patients receive the quality care they deserve.”
The Pinktober 2025 campaign runs until 31 October 2025. Catch the pop-up booth of Marco Polo Ortigas Manila in the patient’s lounge of Cardinal Santos Medical Center every _____ to savor a meaningful cup of hope with Silken Bloom, best paired with the freshly baked pastries on display.
