The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) took part in the 269th Bataan Foundation Day, celebrating the province’s establishment. AFAB joined government agencies and local sectors in the Festival of Festivals and the Parade of Celebrations along Capitol Drive. They also attended the 2026 State of the Province Address at the Bataan People’s Center, where plans for economic development were discussed. The event, held on January 11, marked Bataan’s formal separation from Pampanga in 1757, as declared by Republic Act 11138, which designates the day as a special non-working holiday.
