MANILA, Philippines — September 3, 2026 — Philippine Airlines (PAL) welcomed the arrival of its fourth Airbus A350-1000, registered RP-C3513, at Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 7:22 p.m. on September 2, following its delivery flight from Airbus’ delivery center in Toulouse, France. The latest addition further strengthens the flag carrier’s long-haul fleet and reinforces its commitment to providing customers with a world-class travel experience.
RP-C3513 is the fourth of nine Airbus A350-1000 aircraft ordered by Philippine Airlines in 2023 as part of its ongoing fleet modernization and international growth strategy. The airline remains the first and only carrier in Southeast Asia to operate the Airbus A350-1000.
As PAL’s flagship aircraft for long-haul operations, the A350-1000 is configured in a 382-seat, three-class layout featuring private Business Class suites with sliding privacy doors, a dedicated Premium Economy cabin, and an enhanced Economy Class product designed to deliver greater comfort on long-haul journeys. The aircraft also offers improved fuel efficiency, lower carbon emissions, and enhanced operational performance compared with previous-generation aircraft.
The delivery comes as PAL continues to invest in its future fleet. During the Farnborough International Airshow in June, the airline signed Memoranda of Understanding for nine additional Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, with purchase rights for five more, and 15 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners, with options for five additional aircraft, for delivery through 2036. These commitments underscore Philippine Airlines’ confidence in the long-term growth of air travel and its commitment to maintaining one of the most modern and efficient fleets in the region.
The A350-1000 is serving key international markets such as San Francisco, New York and Toronto and supports the airline’s mission of connecting the Philippines to the world with world-class service and Filipino hospitality.
