CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO 3) topped the rankings nationwide in 2016 in terms of service and performance in drug-clearing operations.
National Capital Region placed second and Region 7 ended third.
“Overall, we got a total of 31.09 percent rating, while NCR acquired 29.18 percent. It may seem a small difference, but in actual, it’s a very big gap,” Police Regional Director PCSupt. Aaron Aquino disclosed during the recent meeting of the Regional Peace and Order Council.
He explained that the overall rating was based on the performance of the Police Regional Offices on the areas Project Tokhang, Street Level Target (SLT), High Value Target (HVT), Investigation, and Communication Plan.
“For the Project Tokhang operations, we received a 4.69 percent rating. Meanwhile, we got a 10.89 percent rating for SLT, and 6.25 percent for HVT,” he shared.
Moreover, PRO 3 garnered a rating of 4.65 percent for the Investigation and 4.61 percent for the Communication Plan.
“We scored high in the areas of SLT, HVT and investigations compared to other regions. All these contribute to the fact that we are doing everything in our means to serve and protect the people of Central Luzon,” he said.
