Fifteen drug personalities were arrested following the implementation of search warrants in Lanao del Norte on March 16 and 19, 2018 that also resulted in the seizure of P155,000.00 worth of shabu.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Aaron N. Aquino said operatives of PDEA Regional Office X (PDEA RO X) under the supervision of Director Wilkins M. Villanueva, implemented a search warrant at around 5:00 PM in Purok 4, Poblacion, Bacolod, Lanao del Norte that led to the arrest of suspects identified as Jemuel Balil Iman, alias Loloy, 32 years old; Frubert Palomaria Quezo, 25; Franklin Archede Ladion, 36; Robert Canillo Paboaya, 32; Junrey de Jesus Bantilan, 18; and James Sumagang Villalon 18. The suspects are all residents of the same barangay.
Confiscated during the operation were six pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, weighing more or less 10 grams, with an estimated value of Php50,000.00.
At around 6:25 and 7:26 PM, the same operating team together with elements of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and local police implemented search warrants in Purok 5 and Purok 6, Barangay Saray, Iligan City, Lanao del Norte that led to the arrest of suspects identified as Enriqueta Landicho dela Cruz, 47 years old; Benson Henson Mangilala, 47; Dimple Mag-aso Marata, 35; Christopher Escarpe Careon, 31; Rollie Palicte Tabuclin, 43; Martin Luis Quitara Hutahoy, 21; Mistika Paculba Pagete, 20; Jerold L. Palaňa, 21; and Neil Quiara, 18. Seized during the operation were 12 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, weighing more or less 21 grams, with an estimated value of Php105,000.00, and several drug paraphernalia.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
