Value Alliance marks 2nd year with new website

Value Alliance, the largest alliance of Low Cost Carriers (LCCs) in the world, will relaunch its website in conjunction with its second anniversary on 16 May 2018.

The new and improved portal www.valuealliance.com, promises to provide an improved overall experience for travellers. The site also aggregates the entire route network and destinations covered by all member-LCCs of Value Alliance.

Plus, passengers who book flights through the Value Alliance website will have the added benefit of re-accommodation in the event of missed flight connections. In the event of schedule disruptions, customers may go to the site for hotel accommodation and other essentials, for up to a stipulated amount.

“While passengers can search and book flights on our individual website, including pre-purchase of ancillary services like baggage and meals, the new Value Alliance website is a great one-stop shop that enables a full view of more destinations. It’s a great way for our customers to see the best flights available amongst our members’ vast networks. This will not only give our customers access to the best deals, but will also allow them to enjoy ease of booking paired with seamless connectivity,” said Mike Szucs, Chairman of Value Alliance and Chief Executive Adviser of Cebu Pacific.

Powered by the award-winning Air Black Box technology (ABB), the new Value Alliance website is also the first to offer booking and ticketing capabilities, enabling cross-airline sales—a culmination of integration efforts amongst all member-LCCs of the alliance.

“At Air Black Box, we are very pleased to provide the alliance with state of the art technology to realise the expansion of their network footprint. We’re able to connect them to sell stuff that matters and are desirous to the customers” said Timothy O’Neil-Dunne, Global Product Director.

A series of ValueAlliance.com campaigns are set to roll out shortly after the website relaunch, including several week-long online promotions from May to July 2018. On May 16-17, 2018, Cebu Pacific will hold a special seat sale enabling Juans to fly from the Philippines to popular destinations like Athens, Berlin, and Maldives (Malé), for as low as Php 7,472.

“The key focus of Value Alliance lies with the consumers. With the member airlines’ wide network, we are confident our passengers will continue to trust LCCs in delivering them to their destinations safely, conveniently and at the lowest price-points possible,” said Candice Iyog, Vice President for Marketing and Distribution at Cebu Pacific, a member of Value Alliance.

Founded on 16 May 2016, Value Alliance is comprised of eight leading LCCs in the Asia- Pacific region, namely: Cebu Pacific, and its subsidiary Cebgo; Jeju Air; Nok Air; NokScoot; Vanilla Air, Tigerair Australia; Scoot; and Tigerair Singapore, which was successfully merged with Scoot in July 2017. Value Alliance is also the fourth-largest airline alliance in the world in terms of passengers, flights, combined fleet and members, covering more than 160 destinations within the Asia-Pacific region. Its airline members carry an impressive roster of over 180 aircrafts, and serve an annual passenger total of over 50 million, and growing.
