Alvaro: Imerex Cargo opens May 16, excites OFWs in Dubai, UAE

To provide excellent freight forwarding services to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Dubai, the Imerex Cargo is set to open its doors to some 600,000 Filipinos in United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday, May 16.

Delivery of cargoes remains a high-demand service as Dubai is dubbed as the largest transportation hub in the region.

“With the hundreds of thousands of our kababayans in Dubai, we would like to pay tribute to their sacrifices and hard work in the form of ‘balikbayan boxes’ as a by- product of the blood and sweat of our modern day heroes. Balikbayan Box is a long tradition of ‘pasalubong’ to many Filipinos abroad as it brings priceless smiles to their loved ones in the Philippines,” Dr. Irineo Alvaro, president of Medal Consortium said.

The cargo company is a brainchild of brothers Ric and Mark Mercado who also worked as OFWs in Saudi Arabia. Steered with passion and dedication, Imerex grew and expanded in United States of America and Taiwan through the years, and now Dubai as latest addition to its unprecedented success stories.

Expected to lead the soft opening are Ric Mercado and Jef Del Mundo, two of the founding members of Medal Consortium.

Imerex Dubai is located at Al Bada Oasis Building Shop #30, Hudaiba Street (across the Iranian Hospital), Satwa, Dubai, UAE.

Business hours is from Monday to Sunday, 10am to 10pm. For more details call at +971 552 941987.
