In commemoration of Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 1991, the Mabalacat City government in partnership with TeamBikeStop (TBS) will hold the first mountain bike jamboree dubbed as ‘Reign to Glory’, Saturday, June 16.
City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo with the Sangguniang Panlungsod and the Tourism Office headed by Arwin Paul Lingat are bound and determined on charting the city towards sports tourism.
“The lahar and river crossing and the short off- road ascend are the unique features of the race course design. We envision Mabalacat City to become a premiere off-road biking route and host to multi-sport festivals in the country,” TBS Race Director and Coach Melvin Fausto said.
TBS, the official organizer and event partner of Mabalacat City, is a sports management company promoting healthy lifestyle.
The event organizers encourage enthusiasts and advance bikers to witness the scenic view of Mabalacat City through biking. The event is limited to the first 300 registered bikers only.
