CBS, a television network in United States, will be featuring a true-blue Kapampangan’s trendy baked good brand on its lifestyle show “This is LA Season 2′.
Proud Angeleño Analyn ‘Nha’ Dungca, the owner of ‘Cinna and Spice’ will be this highly rated show’s main highlight.
“I am humbled and honored to have been selected by CBS Network to be featured on their show, “This Is LA”. I share my pride in my birthplace and hometown, Angeles City, Pampanga, the culinary capital of the Philippines, from which my creative talents and high standard for cuisine are rooted,” Dungca said in a phone interview.
According to Dungca, Cinna & Spice was crafted out of passion for baking and food adventure combined with flair for fashion creativity set the next delectable trendy dessert – “cinnabites” and “mini cinnas”.
Each cinnabite is carefully handcrafted and designed using the finest ingredients to achieve that perfect gourmet cinnamon rolls with a unique blend of signature frostings and toppings.
“Many thanks and love to two of my childhood friends, classmates from Holy Family Academy, Carmen Lucas and John Masiclat (proud Angeleños too!) for their confidence in me and investing in this venture unconditionally! Their skills and talents are truly immeasurable,” Dungca added.
The show will be aired on Saturday, June 30 on CBS Channel 2 in Los Angeles at 3pm (Philippine Standard Time).
Kapampangan Pride of LA
Born to Emilio “Miling” and Aurora “Auring” Dungca, locals of Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines.
Dungca finished her primary education at Holy Family Academy, high school at Gardena High School in California and acquired a degree in business administration at California State University in 1987. In 1992, she studied at Museum Art Studies in Paris, France. She also received her diploma in fine arts from one of the prestigious arts and design school worldwide, the Otis/Parsons School of Art and Design in Los Angeles in 1994.
After receiving her Professional International Marketing Degree from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2007, she ventured the fashion industry as Senior Designer and Creative Design Director at Guess, Mattel Inc. Design, Disney, Sanrio Hello Kitty, and Warner Bros.
She also led a creative design team that handles multi-million dollar accounts for Walmart, Target, Costco, Kmart, Macy’s, Kohl’s.
Dungca has been travelling for trend shopping and exploring various cuisines all around the globe.
