Rep. Roman leads relief goods distribution

Dinalupihan, Bataan – Bataan 1st District Rep. Geraldine B. Roman leads the distribution of relief goods from DSWD in various barangays (villages) here.

Roman is joined by her district office manager, Dr. Boyet Castañeda and his staff and barangay officials. 

According to a report from the Bataan PDRRMO, a total of 441 families or 1524 persons from 43 affected barangays were reported by the local DRRMO due to the onslaught of typhoons in the last two weeks in this municipality. 

“The recent typhoons have caused floods and damages to multiple homes in Bataan, but the people’s spirit remains strong and resilient during these difficult times. My heart swelled with pride when I saw our people from different towns and barangays come together to help those who are in need. I am so proud to be from my beloved Bataan!,” told said on her Facebook Page.

Congresswoman Roman was also joined by Brigida Navarette (SWO II – Provincial Team Leader) and DSWD Staff as she personally distributed relief goods to hundreds of beneficiaries in the worst-hit barangays of jer district.

A partial report on the damages on infrastructures according to the Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO) were recorded at P81 million while P187 thousand damages on agriculture livestocks were recorded by the Provincial Agriculture Office.
