Eight persons were arrested during anti-illegal gambling operations conducted by the 2nd Bulacan Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) in Brgy Minuyan Rd 1, Sapang Palay, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan on Sunday night.
Bulacan Police Provincial Office acting director Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna identified the arrested suspects as Frederick Valmadrid; Jayson Tobola; Richard Ortiz; Gilbert Lopez; Raul Legaspi; Ronaldo Galanza; Abel Babaran and Victor Abarro all residents of RD 1 Brgy. Minuyan Sapang Palay.
Investigation showed that the elements of 2nd Bulacan PMFC police immediately responded upon receipt of the report regarding the ongoing illegal gambling at the aforementioned area wherein they caught the suspects while in the act of playing illegal card game (Pusoy) and video Karera, which resulted in the arrest of the suspects.
Confiscated were playing cards, video Karera machine while appropriate criminal charges were filed against the suspects.
