Camp Gen Alejo S. Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — A suspect listed as ‘Top 3 Most Wanted Person’ (MWP) of Region 2 was arrested in a joint operation conducted by operatives of Provincial Highway Team Group Cagayan (RHPU-2) Bulacan RHPU-3 and San Ildefonso Municipal Police Station in Brgy. San Juan, San Ildefonso Bulacan on Sunday.
The arrested subject person was identified by Sr. Supt. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan PNP acting provincial director as Jonathan Zalun, 27, single, native of Malacabibi Solana, Cayagan, a resident of Quijano St., Brgy. San Juan, San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
The accused was arrested by the operatives by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for violation of RA 6539 (Carnapping) under criminal case number 18569 issued by Honorable Judge Pablo M. Agustin of Regional Trial Court, Cagayan on December 6, 2016, with a recommended bail of Php180,000.00.
The arrested person is now under the custody of HPG Cagayan for proper disposition.
