PARAÑAQUE CITY — Kapanalig at Kambilan ning Memalen Pampanga (Kambilan) Chairperson Governor Lilia Pineda on Monday signed an alliance with Hugpong Ng Pagbabago (HNP), a regional political party led by Davao Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio at The Blue Leaf Filipinas here.
HNP Secretary-General Antonio del Rosario, who is also the governor of Davao del Norte, during the press conference said the alliance is set to ensure the support for President Rodrigo Duterte and senators to be endorse by the HNP come 2019 polls.
However, the final listing of the senators that HNP will endorse has not yet been confirmed as of press time.
Del Rosario said their political party has opened its doors to an alliance with political parties and persons who share the same beliefs, thrusts, vision and mission of the HNP.
Meantime, Kambilan said it shares the same objectives as that of HNP, and have agreed to form a political alliance with the party that will pave the way for a deeper reach of their advocacies through the provision of mutual support.
Governor Pineda, during the press conference said Kambilan shares the same objectives with HNP in support of President Duterte’s plans and programs for the country.
“Kami sa lalawigan ng Pampanga at ako, bilang Chairperson ng Kapanalig at Kambilan Ning Memalen Pampanga o Kambilan, ay nagagalak sa pakikipag alyansang ito sa Hugpong Ng Pagbabago, dahil iisa ang adhikain ng ating mga partido — ang pamunuan ng mapayapa ang ating mga nasasakupan. Ako, kasama si Vice Governor Dennis Pineda, provincial board members, Pampanga Mayors League President Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab, lahat ng mayors, vice mayors at miyembro ng mga sanggunian, at lahat na kasapi ng Kambilan ay patuloy na susuporta sa ating Pangulo Duterte sa kanyang mga programa sa ating bansa,” Pineda said.
Kambilan is the ruling local political party in Pampanga organized in December 2009.
