The Pampanga State Agricultural University Governing Board has elected Dr. Irineo G. Alvaro Jr., top director of the Clark Investors and Locators Association, to serve as member of the said Board for two years.
Alvaro, a former Angeles city councilor, will be representing the private sector.
In a letter sent to Alvaro, University president and vice chair of the PSAU Governing Board Honorio M. Soriano Jr., said the gesture manifests the high esteem and trust of the Board in his capacity and competency to contribute in the attainment of the University’s mission and vision, as well as for its continued growth and development.
The letter, dated Oct. 4, 2018, was signed by Soriano and attested by Board Secretary and Secretariat of the Search Committee Mina Lyn G. Alviz.
Alvaro, president of BB International Leisure and Resort Development Corporation, is also a book author. He launched the book titled “Do You Think You Can Manage a Parish? A Walk through Parish Management,” last January, and “Fiona: A Journey with an Angel”, in May 2017.
