Former 1st district Representative and Team Pilipinas Coach Joseller “Yeng” Guiao on Monday officially made his comeback into politics after he filed his Certificate of Candidacy (CoC) before the office of the Provincial Commission on Election (Comelec).
Guiao along with his wife Jenny filed his CoC, as he eyes to continue his legislation this time for healthcare particularly for senior citizens, education and social services.
Guiao, who is also the NLEx Coach, said he will continue his infrastructure projects for the first district and to push for more budget allocation for the development of Clark Airport, of which construction for a new terminal is now ongoing.
He said he will work for the urban planning development for the 1st district, even as he will push for the construction of a subway train to address the booming industry in Clark.
“Aside of course from that, we will improve the delivery of basic services as well as the Philhealth coverage for each Filipino not just for the 1st District,” Guiao said.
He furthered that once given a chance in Congress again, he will push for a lot more benefits and priviledges for senior citizens.
Guiao, before taking his seat in Congress in 2013, was once a Board Member and a three-term Vice Governor of Pampanga whose legacy is the computerization of quarry operations in the province.
The former solon is running under Kambilan a local political party in the province.
