Fritzie files CoC for 2nd District BM

Ex-officio Board Member Olga Frances “Fritzie” David Dizon, in celebration of her natal day on Monday, filed her certificate of candidacy for 2nd District Board Member before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) provincial office here.

David-Dizon will run under the Kapanalig at Kambilan ning Memalen Pampanga (Kambilan) party of Governor Lilia Pineda.

According to David-Dizon, she is confident of the party’s support for her candidacy in the 2019 polls.

“The service programs and legacy initiatives of Nanay must continue. I believe that I could be of help in ensuring that the district would be represented in the next era of governance under the leadership of Vice Governor Dennis Pineda, who is running for governor,” David-Dizon added.

Joined by her supporters, David-Dizon was also accompanied by her brother Dexter Albert David —who also filed his CoC for mayoralty post last Monday in Porac town along with his complete slate.

She is the eldest daughter of the late Porac Mayor Roy David and former Pampanga acting governor Edna De Ausen-David.

She was appointed board member after her mother died on November 9, 2010 but did not run for an elective position in 2013 to focus more time on her family. She later entered town politics as municipal councilor in 2016. Pampanga’s second district covers the towns of Floridablanca, Lubao, Porac, Santa Rita, Guagua and Sasmuan.
