It could have been the ‘red gown’ fad but beauty and wit led this Kapampangan lass to bring home the Miss Tourism World 2019 Intercontinental crown.
Francesca Taruc lines on the reign of beauty queens after winning the coveted Miss Tourism World 2019 Intercontinental title during the coronation night last January 8 held in Nanjing, China.
Newly-crowned Miss Tourism World 2019 Intercontinental Francesca Taruc wearing Bryan Gil’s three stars and a sun inspired long gown.
She also bagged the Best Body award during the preliminary round of the pageant.
Taruc, a native of Angeles City, is the daughter of late Dr. Romeo Taruc who served as a councilor in Angeles City and the former director of Land Bank of the Philippines, and the granddaughter of Hukbong Bayan Laban sa mga Hapon (Hukbalahap) Supremo Luis Taruc. She is a graduate of Mass Communication at Holy Angel University.
She is also Mutya ning Angeles 2017 – Youth Ambassador and she represented the country at the Miss Freedom of the World 2018 in Kosovo last July 2018.
Next to her is Tatarstan as 1st Runner-Up with Ukraine as 2nd Runner-Up.
