ABUCAY, Bataan- Bataan Provincial Board Member Dexter “Teri Onor” Dominguez on Monday morning led the groundbreaking of a two-storey school building inside the Bonifacio Camacho National High School here.
BM Dominguez said the construction of the secondary classrooms is under the Department of Education’s Calendar Year 2018 Basic Educational Facilities Fund (BEFF).
The said project is a two-storey, 12-classroom school building worth P30,836,039.49 that materialized thru the initiative and efforts of Board Member Dominguez.
Recently, BM Dominguez personally had a meeting with Department of Education (DepEd) Secretarty Dr. Leonor M. Briones and DepEd Undersecretary for Adminsitration Alain Del. B. Pascua about the construction of additional school buildings for Bataan.
“Marami pa pong kasunod yan pati sa ibang towns ng first district (of Bataan),” Dominguez told this reporter.
In the pipeline, Dominguez added, are another school building projects for Abucay, Morong, Hermosa, Dinalupihan Orani and Samal towns.
The BEFF is an annual budget of the Department for its School Building Program, which covers the improvement and maintenance of school facilities.
